Football is changing, ladies and gentleman! I grew up watching football with my favourite stars showing loyalty to the club but now it's all about money!
Well, I won't say all - but it plays far more significant factor than it should! The world of football has been a common ground for the investors to pour in money. We are no more a sport of passion but a billion dollar investment as far as owners are concerned.
There are certainly some exceptions, but what I like for a football club to be is like Bayern Munich which is fan owned! Not some rich dude who wants to earn money using the football club as a leverage! Having said that, THANK GOD! we have Roman Abramovich! I love the dude.
He seriously loves the club, atleast until now! The man has never asked a penny from the club and instead, installs money in it. I don't know what his future plans are, I hope he doesn't make this club a pension club but Kudos. Lets take a laugh at United.
The club is seriously spending money now, but on what way? They spend the highest wages while they sit on sixth! What a joke. Paul Pogba is highest paid Premier League player.
But they sit sixth for heaven's sake! No one cares about them anymore, they are no threat to Premier League title, and they come back from Rostov with a draw!
But they are spending money. Why do you think people join United? For footballing reasons? Do you think these footballers give a rat ass about what fans sing ? It's all money. IF Pogba was offered lesser money, he'd rather stay at Juventus. Do you think Juventus' fans are less vocal? They are Juventus!
